An action packed program was on offer last Sunday (August 22) at Open Day.
Visitors Eleanor and Kim Revell, from Narrabri, planned their day in advance to ensure they fitted in all of the attractions.
They toured the new Veterinary Science facilities, attended academic information sessions and enjoyed some free fairy floss.
Campus Director and Executive Dean of the Faculty of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science (NRAVS), Professor Roger Swift, said he was delighted with the turn out on what was one of the most important days of the year.
鈥淚t was a great success, made possible by the many staff that volunteered their time to help showcase the University and all that we have to offer at the Gatton campus,鈥 Professor Swift said.
鈥淲hether they were touring our state-of-the-art facilities, learning about the history of the Gatton campus, getting advice from a student or learning about their area of interest from our innovative researchers, it was exciting to see so many enthusiastic students considering a career in animals, agriculture, veterinary science, food or the environment,鈥 he said.
The Central Walkway was the perfect spot to enjoy the festivities, with River 94.9 broadcasting throughout the day and student associations offering a range of lunch options.
Study options and academic advice was the focus of the day, with prospective students and their families learning about programs on offer, pathways, career options and life as a 麻豆传媒映画 student.
