returns to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» of Queensland this month with a line-up of insightful speakers at its 2023 event, .
Now in its tenth year, TEDxÂ鶹´«Ã½Ó³» provides a platform for critical thinking, innovation and creative ideas from across the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» community of researchers, professors, alumni and students.
This year, 12 speakers across 3 sessions will explore how small actions can create transformative outcomes on Saturday 19 August.
They range from ’s insights into the power of compassion, to ’s research on the game changing potential of superworms in tackling plastic waste.
The audience will be able to explore activation spaces featuring fossil displays with and a painting and calligraphy station with the . Guests can also attend the optional post-event networking session with speakers.
The inaugural TEDxÂ鶹´«Ã½Ó³» event was started in 2013 by third-year biotechnology student Lawrence Wong and has gone on to host 101 talks and receive more than 3 million views on YouTube.
