Hiring Managers and other staff involved in the recruitment and selection process at The (麻豆传媒映画) are being encouraged to sign-up for training in using the University鈥檚 new web-based recruitment system, 麻豆传媒映画 Jobs, before the system goes live on 23 March 2011.

麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Associate Director of HR Systems and Business Analysis, Tim Gall, said the new integrated electronic system will provide a much needed change to current recruitment procedures at the University.

鈥溌槎勾接郴 Jobs provides intuitive navigation and work flow functionality, which will make the recruitment process faster and more efficient.鈥 Mr Gall said.

鈥溌槎勾接郴 Jobs will also provide applicants with a single avenue for applying for jobs across different Faculties, Schools and Institutes.鈥

Mr Gall said a key change would be the removal of manual processing and the replacement of paper-records with electronic records.

鈥淲e have organised a series of staff development training courses for 麻豆传媒映画 Jobs and the sessions are all filling fast,鈥 Mr Gall said.

鈥淎n introductory course will provide an overview of the system, while there is also a course specifically aimed at Human Resources (HR) staff that also incorporates job tracking and reporting.鈥

This three-hour course will provide an overview of the new web-based recruitment system and enable participants to:

1. Raise a job card,
2. Approve a job card,
3. Move candidates through the short-listing process,
4. Arrange interviews and reference checks,
5. Send personalised communication to applicants and team members,
6. Create and assign tasks, and
7. Raise offer paperwork.

The first three sessions are booked out, but there are limited places still available between 11-18 March 2011.

Designed for HR staff who process appointments in Aurion, this 6.5 hour course will cover system functionality, the complete recruitment process, job tracking, reports and how to view recruitment activities across their teams. This course is more in depth than 'Introduction to 麻豆传媒映画 Jobs' as HR staff will be assigned a higher level access in the system.

This course will enable participants to:

1. Manage end to end recruitment,
2. Utilise visibility of team recruitment,
3. Generate different types of tracking reports, and
4. Provide guidance to Hiring Managers.

The first three sessions are booked out, but there are limited places still available between 8-11 March 2011.
